Miah's First Puppy Kindy Session

Miah went very well at her first session of puppy kindy tonight. Most of the other puppies were a lot bigger than her, even the 8 week old border Collie x ! They were a little bit boisterous for her and she did recoil a few times  back away from them (and I had to stop myself stressing  badly that they might accidently want to play too rough with her) , but once she worked up her confidence again, she was game to go back and say hello to them,  that's our girl ! The trainer said she has quite a bit of focus, which is good !

Its All About Having Fun When You Are A Puppy

I haven't been posting as many  updates since Miah has come to live with us. This is due to us being  fully occupied with her over everything else lol. Like a young child, she is into everything, well between her naps.

Miah had her 12 weeks vaccinations yesterday, all went very well. The vet said she is in very good health!

I just wish I had the same amount of energy she has, but like someone said to me the other day, be grateful  she has,  as thats a good sign of a very health puppy!

Precious Moments

These couple of photos I must say evoke bittersweet emotions from me, happy ones and some sad ones...

Renae will be 11 this year, and was recently diagnosed with a liver issue. The Vets don't really know what exactly is causing it. She has had tests done and been on medications. Not  much else can be done but to  keep an eye on her tor any changes. She has good days and bad days.  We are not sure how much longer she will be with us but every moment and  extra day we have with her is a bonus, and we treasure the time we have left with her.

 Four days on... and  Joey, Renae , the cats and Pepsi the bunny  are  starting to slowly getting used  to Miah being a part of their  household. Every so often we see a little breakthrough. Here is just one example from this morning that  we  managed to capture. Everyone say Awwwww :)

I am a  bit behind with my updates. Why you ask? Well because Miah  has finally come to live with us (9th Feb) and all I can do is keep watching her with so much happiness and Joy! Plus anyone whose ever owned a puppy knows how  full of beans they can be, well between their naps lol

8 More Sleeps Till Miah Comes To Live With Us!!

Well the countdown is now on, only 8 more sleeps until  Miah comes to live with us! wohooo! Can you tell how excited I am ??  well my Husband and I both are ;-)

Miah's breeder will be bringing her up to our place, there will be a fair bit of traveling involved, but I am sure she will be just fine!
